Computer Lab

Internet enable computer lab with most modern computers to meet the students’ information technology needs. Trained and experienced teachers provide both theoretical and practical lessons for students to help them navigate a rapidly changing technology driven world.

Library

Fr. John Britto Memorial library of K.E. Carmel School, Amtala aims at providing access to its printed resources such as Books and Journals as well a electronic journals and online data bases primarily for the use of students and the faculty of K.E. Carmel School. Its holding should reflect their interest largely. The library stock is increasing at a rate of approximately 1000 books a year.The library also subscribe to over 100 current periodicals and to a range of Electronic journals and databases. The library is supervised by a Team consisting of librarians and the three members from the faculty.

Music & Dance

Music, Dance and Arts, as the essence of all that is beautiful in life occupies a special status in our School. It is an expression of mind, body and soul and a perennial source of joy. Every child is encouraged to find his/her rhythm which is then perfected by our very talented faculty of Music, Dance and Arts. From vocal, instrumental, classical to contemporary, we expose our students to all forms of the Art, so they can each find their own notes in life. In our Dance Rooms, our students are introduced to classical and contemporary dances to help them communicate with themselves, others and with the World at large.

Smart Class

Our Smart Class Rooms bring the most modern technology into the class room learning. It brought an exhaustive responsibility of World class digital modules or lessons. (Consisting of 2D and 3D animations, graphics, audio and video) on every subject. Our students and faculty could easily access and project in the classroom that illuminated and explained abstract and difficult concepts with liquid clarity. Through our Smart Class Rooms a new light of understanding dawned on young awakened minds. And the class room became a fascinating place to be in as a new generation of learners saw (instead of just being told and explained) for the first time how things happened.

Sports & Games

To nurture the mental and physical strength of students, the School has a huge facility for indoor and outdoor games and sports. There is an indoor Basketball court, Volleyball court, Badminton courts, Throw ball court, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Scribble and other games. The students of the School regularly participate each year in Inter school sports and games competitions. The School has a number of lush green grounds and well laid outdoor courts for football and sports.

CCTV

The school is under CCTV camera surveillance, which is being used to provide surveillance and to monitor and keep track of all the activities that take place inside the premises of the School. This surveillance activity is done with complete awareness on the students, parents and teachers. It prevents unauthorized intrudes who enter the premises, thereby promoting school security. It enhances the discipline and complete security of the School by all means.

Lab Facility

Every student is an enthusiastic scientist in the making, and they spend part of their School time in laboratory. They explore, probe and experiment to find the truth behind the facts of life, to solve problems, to find off madness and chaos that result out of ignorance and preconceived notions. Our Laboratories are stimulating places for students and since our students need to, practice their hands on experiments. The Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories at K.E. Carmel School cater to the needs, of ICSE & ISC experiments simultaneously while the teachers and lab- assistants always at hand provide constant supervision and guidance for optimum results.
